This is an absolutely charming property that is clean and comfortable. The staff is very attentive. The breakfast was superb - buffet and made-to-order with complimentary mimosa!!! It is a short walk to the center of Bath (< 10 mins). I felt very peaceful there and enjoyed really great sleep.

This hotel was booked by our children as a surprise for our 40th wedding anniversary. On arrival Caroline Browning the general manager upgraded us to a lovely room over looking the garden and square. A very thoughtful touch was an anniversary card and chocolates in the room from Caroline and the staff. The location is within walking distance of the...

Located just a short walk from the heart of the city, this property is amazingly quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees and a small park across the front. Every morning I woke to the sound of birds singing instead of the typical streets noise which you would expect being so close to town. My room was spacious and well appointed,...

Wonderful small hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. A short walk to most locations in Bath. Breakfast was great. Parking lot can be a bit tight on busy nights but would highly recommend the hotel!!!

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Villa Magdala. On arrival our bags were promptly taken to our room, Caroline the General manager was really helpful and had given us a free upgrade to one of their fabulous rooms and left a card and some chocolates in our room wishing us birthday wishes. The room was tastefully decorated and...

We absolutely loved our stay in a quiet hotel with the most amazing breakfast we've ever had! The staff were ever so nice and accommodating, worth the price. We would love to stay again if we could. So central to all the sites too!

Booked a one night stay as a last minute business trip and we were really impressed. The hotel was lovely with very friendly and helpful staff. It also had free parking and the city centre was just a few minutes walk which was very handy for getting dinner in Bath. I booked a standard room which was fabulous. Very light...

The Villa is tastefully decorated to a high standard and the location is excellent as only a few minutes walk into Town centre. Another plus is the free car parking. The assistant manager was very courteous and professional. We booked our room through Booking.com thus the breakfast costs £15.00pp. It was a very good, expensive breakfast. Many of the reviews...

We stayed here for a night at the end of April. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived, the location is very handy and it’s easy to walk into the city (even with a toddler!). It was also great to have free parking and we really appreciated being able to leave the car there until after lunch on our...

“Park view recommended.”

“We stayed in the Hideaway Suite which is actually the converted basement but don't be put off as the rooms were spacious and warm. The rooms compromised a large double bedroom with flat screen TV, small fridge for drinks, complimentary tea/coffee and ample storage space. There was also a separate lounge large enough to accommodate two sofa beds, a desk and two armchairs together with a large flat screen Freeview TV. There was a small room adjacent to the bathroom containing a large wardrobe. The bathroom was also bigger than most with a bath and shower - all modern fixtures. even though you are in the basement there are six small windows to let in fresh air and more than sufficient lighting to realise you are not down stairs.”
