I stayed at this bed and breakfast with my daughter who wanted to check out the university of Bath. We arrived late and the owner worked with us to accommodate our late arrival which was nice. The room was a nice size and clean enough even though the bed spring made some noise every time I turned. The location is...

Lovely b&b. Friendly greeting, room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy. Furniture is quirky and vintage. Lovely touches of having port in the lounge. Breakfast is well cooked and hearty. It feels more like staying with a dear friend than in a b&b. Only very slight negatives. Could really do with shower mats as the shower is really slippy.

Stayed for 2 nights with hubby on our recent visit to Bath. I chose this B&B as it has off road parking and is only a short 10 min stroll into the town centre as we didn't want to use the car and have to find parking in the town. Our room had a kingsize bed and was a reasonable...

Stayed in this lovely B&B for 2 nights over half-term for a short break with my best friend. The room was very clean and we loved the character features and cute little ensuite tucked behind a door that looked like it led to a cupboard! We were far enough away from the busy city centre, but, with just a 15min...

The house was built with Bath stone in 17th century Victoria style. Our room is located at the back of house but very convenient. The room is very spacious (3 single beds) and plenty of space. Area is very quiet and room is located away from the main room. Staffs are friendly and breakfast was great. Small negative point is...

This BB was adequate for a one night stay - good value in a place that was hard to find cheap accomodation! Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. A bit of a walk to town! But there is a bus stop out the front. Would recommend!

We chose this B&B for a two night stay, mainly because the hotels in Bath are almost ridiculously expensive and most have no parking included. We had never been to Bath before and followed the instructions on the website and found the place really easily from Bristol airport. Lovely warm greeting from Victoria who directed us on how to walk...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Highways House, built in 1874, is a 5 room (all en suite) guest house. We are ten minutes walk into the city centre (Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, etc) and the return journey is a little uphill towards the end. We are on a main bus & cab route, and well away from the city centre's noisy pubs and clubs that are so busy at weekends. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and friendliness. ... more   less
