Stayed here for a weekend bank holiday break, it's worth mentioning that this hotel is near the top of a steep hill and has 3 car parks. If you don't book the car parking I have no idea where you would park. We like to leave the car at the hotel and walk and this was okay down into the...

Dear TamworthHolly. Thank you for your post. I am happy to see that you enjoyed your stay. As mentioned, we are built into the hill of Lansdown Road, as such the hotel does have a number of rooms and corridors layered throughout the hill. I am glad that you enjoyed the layout of the hotel and that it added to...

I can't give this hotel 4 circles as it wasn't 'very good', but it was better than average. The hotel was nice, obviously steeped in history and you feel that walking through the long corridors. The staff were professional but some weren't particularly friendly. The room was nice. It had basic facilities but I don't doubt that staff would have...

Dear JessLD, Thank you for the review, I am glad to read that you believed the quality of your stay to be, "above average". I am, however sorry that the weather was not more favourable, during your visit to Bath. I do hope that you took the opportunity to visit some of the local indoor attractions during this time. The...

We got very lucky here I think! 2 adjoining rooms with an open balcony running along outside, with two sets of double doors leading onto it, fabulous views from the balcony and parking in the rear car park for only £5 per day which seems very good value. The hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren but that's not...

Thank you Realmum18, for the review. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your stay whilst with us. The balconies do offer that little extra experience, (especially when the sun is shining). With regards to the Bar service, thank you for your comments. This is something I will look in to further, with the aim of increasing the service...

I had a lovely time in Bath. The hotel was clean and comfortable with helpful friendly staff. As a single traveller I am always a bit apprehensive about what my room will be like as we are often disadvantaged however on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised and it looked like the room had a recent make over. It was...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. We really enjoyed our few days in Bath, and this was an ideal base.we parked the car up on the day we arrived and didn't move it until we left. Well worth paying the £5 a day fee as parking on nearby roads is all on a meter....

Dear bazdoe08. I am glad to read that you had a great weekend whilst staying at the Lansdown Grove Hotel. You are right the hill can be a little steep for the uninitiated. The number 31 Park and Ride, however runs past the hotel on a 15 minute basis throughout the day. This convenient service picks up and drops off...
