This hotel is very well situated in the hearth of Bath town, just near the Abbey and 5 minutes from thermal spa. Nice people at the reception, ready to help. I read other tourists reviews that rooms were very small. My recommendation - just do not take the smaller type of rooms, all other rooms are quite ok. My room...

Dear Anna_z2906, Thank you for your kind review. We do recommend our small doubles for single occupancy only, as you rightly say all the other rooms are a good size and suitable for 2 or more people. Do stay with us again if you ever return to Bath. Kind regards, Andrew Foulkes, General Manager

So another fab hotel booked through Stacey at Off Peak Luxury, she never fails to recommend a great hotel. We only book our weekend breaks through OPL now as we are never disappointed. We had 2 nights in The Abbey, the staff are so accommodating and lovely, it was my Birthday so there was a delicious cupcake in the room...

I'm pleased to hear that our staff went to a lot of trouble to make it so special for you. We do hope you'll return for future celebrations, and many congratulations on your engagement. We came here for our anniversary and loved every minute of it! The staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are so cozy with lovely big windows, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located to everything you want to see!

Spent one night here for an event in Bath, I purposely booked this hotel at a discounted price of £171.00 per night because it said parking available, what it didn't say was it was in a public car park 10 minutes walk away at a charge of £12.00 per day. I could have booked elsewhere with NO parking at half...

Dear Cjay407, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for both your positive and constructive feedback. It's always nice to hear how helpful and friendly our staff are. The hotel is ideally located for the centr of Bath. In common with many town centre hotels, there is no onsite parking, but public parking is about 300 yards away. The room had been recently refurbished, and looked towards the river. Tea, coffee biscuits and water in the room. There is a restaurant, but with so many places to choose...

This hotel is located within a short stroll to all the lovely stuff Bath has to offer. The staff were friendly and the room clean and it came with a kettle and plenty of coffee which is always nice. The bathroom was large and modern but the bedroom we had was tiny. Now I don't mind a small room because...

I had booked this hotel for a one night break with my other half, but, when we got there, we realised there is no parking at the hotel, despite the fact it lists 'parking' in amenities. Dear XRhea, Thank you so much for your kind review. As you quite rightly note, we are right in the city centre, close to all the tourist hot-spots, and of course a few local bars which can mean that there are sometimes "merry" people on their way home after a night out. If any of these people disturb you, our...

The Abbey hotel is perfectly placed. Just a stones throw to Sally Lunn's, The Bath Abbey church and the Roman Baths. Getting to your room can be a bit confusing. Getting...

Dear MillionAcreFarm, Thank you so much for your kind review. The hotel is actually comprised of three Georgian townhouses, and as a result is not laid out in the way a traditional purpose built hotel might be. This the nature of period properties, but once you get the hang of where your room is, it's really quite easy. For those...
