Found this easier than we thought. Lovely welcome and got parked on street close by. Room was good and location is great with most highlights within easy walking distance. Quiet at night so had a good sleep. Breakfast was very good quality with lots of choice.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review. Our ‘goldilocks’ location – a level 5 minute stroll into the centre, without the city noise and night time hubbub, is indeed a tremendous advantage. We take great pride in our ‘best in class’ cooked to order breakfast – pleased that it met with applause.

Had a wonderful overnight stay in this very charming hotel. The place is quite regal. It's like stepping into old world charm but with new world comfort. We were greeted by such a lovely front desk attendant. He was so polite and hospitable. The next front desk attendant we encountered was the same. The room we booked was spacious, very...

We are supported by a wonderful team who share tremendous pride in the City of Bath and presenting Dukes – a rather tired old lady of over 225 years of age at her very best – creaky floorboards, faded fabrics and rattling sash windows to boot. Many thanks.

Stayed at this delightful hotel for two nights on our first visit to Bath, based on it's TA reviews. Many thanks to all previous reviewers, it couldn't have been better. A beautiful unspoilt Georgian townhouse set on a wide street, an easy five to ten minute stroll to the centre of the city. Friendly helpful staff, superb breakfasts, and a...

As you note Dukes is very much a ‘Georgian’ offering. We stand within two Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouses and so are preclude from introducing a lift. The six flights of stairs are a challenge, though many of our guests enjoy the immersion in Georgian living. For the less adventurous we offer a variety of rooms locations – two available...

We always encourage and support Dukes ‘as a gift’ – and what a superb treat a short break may prove to be. The City of Bath is such a wonderful backdrop for a birthday, anniversary or marriage proposal – so much beauty and memorable sights and activities to enjoy. Thank you for the ‘excellent’ approval!

Situated on a beautiful, Bath Stone 18th Century avenue and a 5 minute walk from the city centre. This is a great hotel for people looking for somewhere with character and history. The 19 rooms are split between two converted houses and have lovely high ceilings, original features and ours a very impressive four poster bed. Decor was a little...

Delighted to read that you found our four poster room, on a Saturday night ‘well priced’. As you note after 225 years these wonderful Grade 1 listed properties take a great deal of effort to keep looking at their best. Our service is indeed very much focused on meeting the needs of the ‘overnight’ visitor to Bath with an emphasis...

We were sorry we could only spend one night at this wonderful B&B. The location is excellent for a quick walk into the city centre.
