The accommodation was of an excellent standard. Leah was fantastic and helpful in many ways. Nothing was amiss and the service was great. The Circus Room was of excellent standard and all amenities were provided. Breakfast was cooked to perfection.

Stayed here for 2 nights during February and would definitely recommend, arrived in mid morning and staff were happy for us to leave out bags there while we went out for the day (a favour they extended on our last day and we left our bags there for several hours before going to catch out train). The reason to stay...

The Griffin Inn is a home away from home and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Kate and James went the extra mile to make sure we had a very comfortable stay. Everything was very clean and the food and drink was all excellent. I will definitely be back to see everyone again soon.

Had a warm welcome on arrival, great hospitality over the two night stay, good range of ales, good breakfast to start the day, 10 minutes walk to most of the attractions would use again...Thanks to all the staff. Mick from Dover.

The rooms are small but very cozy and the matress are extremely soft. Lovely service and very good breakfast included. There is also a pub on the ground floor and its a very well localized place. The lady that manages is very kind, we were very pleased with the service.

Very care worn building, room small chipped toilet seat and cracked sink. Knobs missing from chest of drawers and when I opened a draw it fell apart. In dire need of updating. On the plus side, clean room, breakfast was lovely and staff were brilliant. Location was good in the centre of the town.

I went to the Griffin with a friend for a drink. Although I live in Bath, ive never been in this pub and wont be rushing back anytime soon. Positively, the building is wonderful. Umfortunately, it stops there. Poor welcome from bar staff who could hardly raise a hello. Apart from a couple of locals and one couple eating, the...
