And I mean on every level. It's a maze of higgledy piggledy upstairs downstairs but far from being an annoyance this is very much part of its charm and appeal. Other greats: Value for money. £40 for bed and breakfast (single occupancy in my case) with all the facilities you'd need including WiFi and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast. Generous helpings of...

If you're looking for somewhere very near to the centre of Shrewsbury and close to amenities, shopping etc, you can't go wrong with here. I had a very pleasant sleep as the bed was comfy. Breakfast (which was included) was very nice. I did have a problem with my hot tap not working and the shower door wasn't ideal as...

I stayed yet again at The Old Post Office on Milk Street for the December Meeting of Shrewsbury Poetry which uses the Meetings Room of the OPO for its enjoyable sessions this time featuring Ross Donlan, the Aussie Poet, and Lucy English from Bath Spa University as well as an Open Mic for members. I've complimented the OPO on its...

Just turned up straight off the street last night, looking for some food. Did not need to book, welcomed in by warm and friendly staff. Two courses for two people, just over twenty quid. Great value for money! Would visit again good quality pub grub!

This place is friendly and in the heart of Shrewsbury with restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Room was comfortable and pub serves meals and includes 2 meals for £10 offer. It has a small courtyard. Reasonably priced stay.

Easy to find, basic accommodation in the centre of Shrewsbury which looked lovely and needs a return visit. The Old Post Office offers clean and simple lodgings for those on a budget. The menu in the bar downstairs looked like typical pub grub at affordable prices although we went out to explore so I can't really comment. Private shower for...

We stayed here overnight to visit the Severn Theatre which is just a short walk away. We were made very welcome upon our arrival and showed to our room. Its a bit of a maze and up some steep stairs - so not suitable for those with impaired mobility perhaps. We were not able to eat here on the Sunday...
