Veg were cooked just right. Not hard or mushy. Chips lovely too. You needed a good appetite as meal was large. Value... More

I have lived in Telford for some 17 years and The Malthouse has always been my favourite; guests and family have always stayed there. I lived in one of the apartments 3 years ago for a few days when my house flooded...it was amazing. It always was my favourite haunt when I dined alone. This week, I asked my son... More

Had one nights stay here whilst visiting the Ironbridge museums. Stayed in the extension in lovely if quirkily decorated room. Slept really well and enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the pub the next morning. Only negative would be check out was early (9.30am) and nothing opens in Ironbridge until at least 10am if not 10.30 so you have an hour... More

This was an unplanned or researched visit, it just happened to be close to the Ironbridge, the purpose of the visit. We all had different meals and were all quite happy with what we got. It was well prepared typical pub food without bells and whistles. Service was quick and again no frills. Value for money was good.

This place would massively appeal to some people but be repellent to others. Our room smelt old and damp, to honest the whole place does. there was a leak coming through the ceiling over a light bulb and the decor was tacky. Our friends stayed in a room above the pub, the band was on when we got in and... More

Called in here for Saturday lunch. Hubby ordered cod and chips, daughter burger and chips, son in law had scamp and I had the chicken baguette with sweet potato fries. All of our meals were hot and served by friendly staff. Decent price too. Would call again if in Woodbridge.

Thank Ann J
