Stayed for just one night whilst in Sheffield to attend a wedding. Wish we could have stayed longer. Quarry House is up a private road off the Rivelin Valley road. It is actually in a quarry (but a very picturesque one). Our room was so comfortable. Penelope has thought of everything her guests might need. I slept like a log...

This is a great B&B. Penny and Neville really looked after us. Penny made us tea when we arrived. Lots of great touches, like having tea or coffee left outside your door when you wake up, if you want it. The room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was lovely and there was no rush to leave. I would recommend this...

Lovely room with big en-suite bathroom; sofa to watch TV, with DVD player and lots of DVDs. Tea or coffee delivered to room prior to breakfast. Breakfast was best ever - home made muesli with bowls of blueberries and strawberries, every conceivable cereal and yoghurt followed by choice of all constituents of english breakfast. Have you ever been to a...

We stayed here for our son's graduation July 2016, but wished we found it sooner during the previous five years of visiting!!! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Tucked away in the Rivelin Valley, on the doorstep of Sheffield Uni and City one way and fabulous countryside the other. Wonderful hosts in Penny and Neville, parking aplenty, secluded, very quirky....

We had a second excellent say at Quarry House. Perfect location for seeing Sheffield and the surrounding area. We found some beautiful walks from Quarry House and only a short drive away. Very easy access to Sheffield to see our son at the University. Wonderful breakfasts and welcoming hosts. We will be back again for sure.

I stayed here at Christmas time when visiting and it is a really interesting place just nestled in the quiet Rivilin valley which is where they originally used to forge the steel and make Sheffield cutlery. The hosts are very friendly and interesting folks and are happy to help with whatever you need as a guest. The hostess even very...

Oh this was such a find! I have considered not writing about it in that 'I don't want to share this place with anyone' kinda way but the truth will out. Penny and Neville run a charming, relaxed yet high-end B&B. The breakfast side of things is just out of this world - such choice! All delicious, homemade and organic...

Quarry House is tucked away in the wooded Rivelin Valley just a short drive to the city centre, or walk from the door to explore the area. The Quarry in itself offers an interesting example of Sheffield history. Our ensuite room was on the ground floor, furnished extremely comfortably with warm colours and textures, showing Penny's artistic talent, and a...

We had a lovely stay at Quarry House 19-20th Feb. The owners couldn't be more helpful and approachable. The downstairs bedroom was excellent, very clean, good facilities and comfortable. Nice touch having coffee on arrival and drinks to be left outside the room door in the morning was a good idea. Breakfast was very tasty, especially the sausages! We were...

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights when we were visiting our daughter. We had the ensuite room which is large and very comfortable. Penny and Neville are excellent hosts making us feel like welcomed friends. The breakfast room was amazing, the table was overladen with fruit and cereals. We had muesli, a mixture of oats, grains and heaps...
