Had a pleasant couple of days here . We were on a coach trip break , which was only meant to be B and B , but the evening meal was added to the package at no extra cost . This was a very nice surprise and a really good choice of a 3 course meal . The food was...

It was very nice hotel however the bed was 2 singles joined together not very romantic! The car park was very difficult to find in the end had to get staff member to take me as it really upset me. The male receptionist was very kind. Good value for money but would advice any one to get taxi to centre

Full of noisy guests. The whole place is shabby, carpets are stained, and taped up in places in the stairs. My teenage daughter said she didn't feel safe in there even though she was sharing a room with me. Her sofa bed was on the floor and was ripped. The under sheets on the bed felt like being in a...

Room was actually quite nice but a lot of little things wrong with this place, the guy at the desk at night was rather abrupt and not friendly where as the day staff were, we stayed in room 505, the shower rail fell off upon showering which wasn't great, the kettle made a very dangerous sparking noise from the plug...

Upon my arrival I thought I'd turned up at an office block, the word Sheffield is in large lettering but the name Metropolitan can easily be missed. Walking into reception I wondered where I was, a time warp maybe. I need not have worried, the staff were all friendly, helpful and cheerful. After the bar had closed drinks were provided...

The hotel is centrally located a short walk away from the city centre and train station Rooms are clean and comfortable Parking is limited on site and there is a 5GBP fee for the night which is reasonable if there aren't any spaces left you can park in the multistory around the corner

Stayed over one night with friends. No problems registering and parked outside hotel behind them for £5 24 hrs. Rooms comfortable clean and well equipped. Bar and restaurant was due to open at 5pm but due to the horrendous rain and flooding the staff couldn't get in on time. A big thanks to the gentleman on reception who held the...

The hotel is cheap so i cannot really complain i guess..... the good points are that the business class rooms are clean and actually pleasant enough; modern and relatively well equipped and simple. But the really weird thing though is that i had booked a double room for single usage wishing for the comfort of a double bed and wondered...
