I was in Sheffield for a school reunion and someone else had recommended Coniston Guest House. What a lovely place! Deborah and Gavin (the owners) were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect - warm croissants, pain au chocolat, mountains of toast, gallons of tea and a cooked breakfast with everything you could want on there. The room was lovely...

I had a great stay at the Coniston. It was good value for money and Deborah was a very friendly hostess. I had a comfortable stay in a clean accommodation and I am very satisfied with my visit. I will be recommending to my friends.

Clean but very basic. Great views from windows very good price but basic. Good location but you dont feel Spoiled staying here would probably suit basic business trip friendly hostess and nice warm bathroom. But tiny tv and no wifi clean but not a place to stay long.

What an excellent B&B, great to return here after a few years away. Deborah provides a very warm welcome and excellent service. My room was large, with very nice bathroom, comfortable bed and good wifi, very clean throughout. Also had great views over Sheffield (when the mist cleared!). Good selection of cereals & yoghurts and breakfast. Unbelievably good value.

I stayed here for one night about a month ago. The owner, Debbie, was very flexible, friendly and offered great knowledge on places to eat locally. This hotel was in a good location with shops and restaurants a 10 minute walk away (albeit on a steep hill) and offers off-street parking which was what i was looking for. The rooms...

The Coniston is what a good B&B should be. it is clean, nicely run, helpful advice on the area with a warm and flexible welcome. The facilities are good topped by a very good breakfast and all at a great price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
