We attended a wedding here last December and stayed over following this. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They supported the wedding as much as they possibly could and ensured all guests were well looked after. The food was good and the rooms...More
A family member held there entire wedding here. Such a lovely peaceful place. The wedding seemed really well organised. Fantastic friendly staff .. the food was delicious and piping hot even though it was silver service. Evening entertainment and food was great.

Visited this place for a friend's wedding at the weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The vows were read under a bandstand and there were quite a few benches with a lovely view in the background. The meal was in the barn which...More
Stayed here when visiting our son in Sheffield. Bit of a trek into Sheffield but wanted to see the place that my grandmother (Florence) grew up. Apparently she haunts the Hall but I did not get to meet her! Hotel staff make the place. So...More

Hi Emma, well while we were there only the guests were using the gardens and pavilion area however it is not exclusively for the use by the wedding function as the pub has a wide patio door which anyone can use to gain access to this area. As I say we were there all day and never saw anyone else use the gardens apart from the wedding function. Most other parties appeared to be there for the pub grub which looked to be really good and popular. There is no direct entry to the gardens from the Barn so you would have to use the Car park i'm afraid. Personally if we were to get married again we would'nt hesitate in booking Cubley Hall as the hosts, the food and running of the event was was handled great. Hope this helps. Cheers Paul
