I travel between Reading , London and Theale. The location is perfect and the staff are always super helpful and accommodating. Even to my dietary requirements they went out of their way to cater for me. The lounge area is great to work from and grab a latte or beer at anytime. Anyone who needs consistent service , clean rooms...

I paid £125 per night for my recent stay at this hotel. I booked the hotel primarily on the strength of the reviews on this website which rated it highly. However, I'm sorry to say that it nowhere near merits a 4 or 5 point Tripadvisor rating. I'm baffled as to how so many people actually give this hotel a...

Often when I go to London City, hotels are outrageously expensive. Taking the train to some of the near towns is a great. The Thameside hotel is located near the Thames river in Reading near the station and close to all utilities. The area around the river really is idyllic and I had a great evening and dinner at the...

Stayed at Thameside this past week for a business trip. This hotel really is a lovely little gem. It's not 5* but I thought it was almost there, very clean, friendly and modern. Lovely good and equally lovely staff. 10 minute walk to city centre, a little tricky to navigate if you're not sure of the way but that's hardly...

It took me several days of checking hotels closer to town centre before deciding upon Thameside Hotel. A one night stay is just as important as a longer stay in terms of comfort and service. After checking in early (no problem as my room was ready) the proprietor showed me to my room and explained the key card system/lights as...

Saved our lives, jet lagged and in need of a bed, they were helpful and very appealing. The bed was comfy and the room quiet, breakfast was included and was ample. Highly recommend this pretty little place.

A small family owned and operated hotel that's just a short walk to the train station, restaurants, pubs, a casino or the river. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You really feel like one of the family when you stay at the Thameside hotel, not just a room number with a credit...

I stayed here at the recommendation of a work colleague. I’m glad she did. I enjoyed my stay very, very much. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. It took me a day to find the air conditioning control (left hidden behind the bible by mistake). The first night I slept with a comfortable breeze thru my room from...

I visited the Thameside Hotel for a long business trip. I found the appointments quite good value for the money. The location was convenient to the train station. The hotel staff were just outstanding, going out of their way to be helpful with a breakfast slightly earlier or later than stated hours or by providing help with laundry. My coworkers...

What can be said that isnt already been said. Stayed here for 2 nights, whilst attending family events in Reading and HAD to return to Thameside. This hotel is not the usual, but an extension of the owners home. You will be treated to hospitality far beyond any expectation. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious, food is mouthwatering, and the...
