I stayed here for one night at the end of January 2017 along with other friends attending a reunion. If I'd read the reviews before I booked, I expect I'd have booked to stay elsewhere. However, I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. The lobby was clean and welcoming, as were the reception staff. The hotel is undergoing some...

I've used the quality hotel in Reading on a few occasions and have always received nice friendly service from the staff. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The toiletries, tea and coffee and toilet roll etc are all clearly aimed at the budget hotel market but that's where this hotel excels in my...

Ideally located in centre of town- closest car park Queens. Close to the Oracle for shopping and night life. They were renovating on arrival and I did find the ?manager' on duty the afternoon we arrived and the next morning quite aloof. We asked for quiet rooms and were rewarded with them. Recent deco upgrade is interesting- sadly my shower...

I stayed for the night as was in reading for my works Christmas party, the staff were great and the room very comfortable, checking in and out was very easy and the room and hotel was very clean, didn't go for breakfast, but got a drink from the bar and this was very good with good service.

I needed a reasonably priced place at short notice when we hosted some people from the US last summer. I stayed here and was grossly disappointed. The place is poorly kept, both in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Grossly overpriced for product value it aims to serve.

Never, ever stay here. Just don't put yourself through it. The staff are unbelievably rude. The management lie routinely and become aggressive when challenged. These are basically rooms above an Indian restaurant (owned by the same people). And I love Indian food but I don't need to smell it in my room all day and all night. Ate with some...

I have stayed several occasions. I must be a sucker for punishment. Walls are too thin. Very noisy. Dodgy plumbing. Maids servicing rooms in the morning are very EARLY and noisy, shouting amongst themselves. This was very disruptive on every occasion. The internet....What internet. This is very intermittent. Don't bother trying to watch a bit of iPlayer or YouTube. It...

Good location right in the centre of Reading, this hotel was obviously made by knocking together several old buildings and adding extensions, so it is a bit of a maze, and no lift. We stayed her on New Years Eve. The evening dinner was hot and adequate amount although we thought we might have had crackers / party poppers /...

I feel the need to report this hotel, as it was the worst experience ( more a mightmare) a tourist want to avoid. I am a travel lover, & have traveled all over the world in the last 20 years. I seldom post review, but I feel obligated to warn the fellow tourists on this one. I initially booked for...

This hotel could be very nice however the the public areas and rooms could be refurbished and updated as it's a bit run down, and the food is average. The staff are helpful and friendly. Ok for a one night stay.
