We stayed in November and whilst the hut itself was cosy, our bathroom was shared with the camping ground and one had to walk across a field to get there. I felt it was too expensive given this limitation. Also, I would only recommend it for those who have a car. There was no proper footpath on the busy main...

We stayed for one night and thats all :-). Owner is helpful and oriented to solve any issue. Room is ok. The bathroom should be cleaned more carefully specially the shower (shower had and shower cabin against stain). An additional water pump (hydrophore) will help because if two people will shower at the same time (in different rooms !!! :-)...

Lane House is - relatively - a good “value for money” accommodation. The situation is excellent to visit Oxfordshire. It’s less simple for the city of Oxford: you need to take the bus (stop at 100 yards, bus every 15 minutes) or to use a car (3 miles / 10 minutes to Seacourt Park and Ride). Our room was large...

Our room was at the rear of this lovely old farm house. It overlooked paddocks and rolling green hills. We were extremely comfortable and our en suite was large with modern fixtures and fittings. We had a delicious English breakfast and our hosts were charming. We would go back if we are ever in the vicinity again sometime in the...

We paid over £100 per night and for that I did expect a it to be pretty much perfect. We have stayed in the area previously and paid around £85 per night per room and got nice touches like fruit/sweets in the room, box of tissues and bottles of water, non of which were evident at Lane House. Also, in...

We booked to stay at Lane House as we were down in Oxford visiting family and friends. The location was great and the hosts were lovely, the bedroom was very clean and breakfast ok. However, I do think that for what they charge things could just be a bit better. The glass door to the shower room is virtually see...

We stayed 2 nights, our goal was to visit Oxford. It's a bit far away from the city center , but taxiservice is available. Farmoor is a small village near Oxford. We met the daughter of the Owners who were away on vacation. Very friendly and hospitable young lady. She gave us a lift to town, which was a nice...

This B&B was very comfortable and we were warmly greeted on arrival. We stayed in the bedroom with taller ceilings which was very well presented, with a huge bed, and a nice bathroom, and a good size room. We could hear a little road noise when we first arrived in the afternoon, but I didn't notice it at night or...

The room was very well presented and of good size with the usual amenities, ie wardrobe, dressing table with chair, tv and the most imprtant feature tea making facilities. The bed one word WOW. The Trip Advisor reviews prompted us to make the booking at Lane House rather than elsewhere, and mainly because of the price. Not cheap, but reasonable. As has been said before, it is rather tricky to find in the dark. The main road does not have any street lighting and the the house signage is not prominent, so that by...
