This is a Conference facility not a 5-star hotel but nonetheless we enjoyed our stay there. The surroundings are stunning, lovely views, characterful house and extremely quiet. Very pleasant. It is an old estate I believe. We spent a Saturday night there and though it has some 75 rooms I'd guess less than a dozen were occupied - so it...

Weekend stay for two adults. The location is not the easiest to find but rewards the effort. Within easy reach of Bicester Village (premium Outlet Shopping) and Blenheim Palace each a fifteen minute drive, Oxford just a little further. I attended corporate development courses sessions here a number of years ago. I was very impressed then, and had not realised...

When we arrived, the lad at reception was off hand & didn't show us to our room; the rooms were not in the lovely old house, instead they were in a seapare new fab; our room was fine/functional, a tad small but the en suite was clan and shower excellent; our bed was firm and the room was warm and...

I deliberately decided to stay outside oxford, and this was a delightful find, the place was quiet, I could wtch the starlight sky and unwind without the background hiss of a central city and with buildings with some character and charm. There were only a handful of guests and the staff treated us very pleasantly. As a result I will...

Passed through, I'm over it now. As a stopping point that's about what it is, felt like being back at Uni.Still it's cheap enough, the room is clean and functional, just don't confuse it with a hotel, it's a conference centre, lodging...which for that is ok

We recently stayed at Middle Aston House for one night while exploring the wider Oxford area and really enjoyed our stay. The main residence looks impressive from the outside although is rather lacking in character inside and the grounds are beautiful. It's a very peaceful location in a pretty Cotswold's type village (without being in the Cotswolds). Our accommodation was...

If you love been woken up at 8.30am by excessively loud cleaners outside your room door in despite of the do not disturb sign then this is the place for you. I highly recommend this place if you hate sleeping. Breakfast is nice though, although it felt strange going for breakfast when I had been working nights and should have...

Clean room. Bed was comfortable. Good shower with shampoo and hair dryer available. Great breakfast; no conference was on so breakfast was made to order (also no evening meal available). Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast finished at 8:45 (guess this is for business people to start work at 9:00); so need to be up early. We knew it was a...
