We stayed here one night on a train trip around the UK because it is walkable from the train station. The rooms are in an old building over a bar. So as other reviews have noted there are stairs and some noise to deal with which didn't really bother us much on a midweek night. But results may very. You...

Firstly the location is excellent - 5 mins walk from train station and you are there. Its surrounded by good bars and restaurants. I had some appointments all over the city and everywhere on foot that needed to go was only 10-15 minute walk. Checkin is at the downstairs bar and it's prompt and friendly. However there are a lot...

Avoid it! No real ale. Cost £1 to use the toilet. Probably the worst bar I've experienced, at least the rugby is on TV. John Smiths is not ale, but it's the only option available. Good atmosphere, but all the locals returning full warm glasses;-)

Good central location. Went in because it was the only place showing the Derby game on TV. Money has obviously been spent front of house. Lots of screens, and the bar area and service were fine, but at Oxford prices. Even the men complained about their toilets, which has to be a first: the ladies' loos were not nice. How...

The big problem with this hotel Is the price as it is to high thus giving false impressions. This is a basic hotel, if you are on a lads night out and need a bed for the night in the town centre then this is fine, the location is brilliant. Beds are comfortable, the room was clean and it had...

A colleague and I went here primarily to watch the football following a recommendation from our taxi driver given its proximity to restaurants and the city centre. Several TV screens with various matches around Europe, ample seating area and in the heart of the city centre.

Lovely staff, clean room, stair carpet left a lot to be desired. TV unusable. Very central for Oxford. Quite a noisy bar much more suited to younger generation. I believe they were in the process of updating the premises so hopefully little tidier now.

Located near to the theatre, cinema, bars, restaurants etc so a great location. However, the room was very small, the bed was uncomfortable and had a spring sticking out, the hot tap in the basin was stuck - so no hot water - and the sink drain was blocked. The double glazing was broken so the sound of the bus...

Wanted to just find a normal pub to watch the Golf on. Arrived, place smelt terrible, 4/5 TV's all showing the same thing, plenty of tv's free with no one watching. Ask if we can watch the Golf, blanked and ignored... ask again if we can watch the Golf, reply is no, despite the fact that they have sky sports...

I came into Oxford without a place booked and was happy to find Euro Bar with a room open. The staff was very friendly, the vibe was great, patrons watching football in the bar, cozy sofas to relax by tvs, and good place for drinks. My room was much larger than expected, it's not the Ritz but it's perfectly acceptable....
