We had delightful repeat stay at the charming and historic Bath Place Hotel earlier this month. In this day of chain lodging and lack of character, it is such a privilege to be able to stay somewhere like Bath Place, which fairly oozes old world atmosphere with its beautiful exposed beams, quaintly sloping walls and floors, and incredible location tucked...

This place has so much history that they provide a full summary of it in your room. There were beams in the ceilings and charming crooked floors to remind you of the impressive age of the building. As the ensuite bathroom was added much later, you had to step down a couple stairs to get to it. No complaints, though....

Nice clean and cosy hotel. Room (and hotel) was decorated according to the building: old style, without feeling outdated. I felt at home here. Very kind staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Second night I had neighbors: room turned out to be noisy, could hear normal speaking level. I wonder now if there might be something wrong with the floor or...

The hotel is unique because of being set around a tiny courtyard and comprising of seventeenth century cottages sympathetically converted into hotel accommodation. The rooms are quaint with adequate facilities including provision for tea/coffee. The beds (I have used two of the bedrooms) were very comfortable. Continental breakfast good - included in the room rate and all the staff were genuinely...

Our recent visit to Bath Place was, as always delightful. It is always very welcoming and cosy . Our room was well equipped and comfortable. We love the location -right in the heart of historical Oxford, The pretty courtyard entrance down the cobbled Bath Place is really lovely. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is some 400 years or so old and is very quaint. The rooms are not particularly large but adequate. Housekeeping was a bit ordinary-we had one empty bottle on the floor of the room which was not cleaned up during the whole stay. The TVs are minuscule and barely visible from the bed. The beds are very comfortable...

The Bath Place Hotel gives a taste of what real Oxford life is like--but with all of the mod cons. Its location is perfect--between Wadham and New College. Its rooms are quaint--the floors slope a little and the stairways are narrow--but it gives a good taste of what Oxford was like, 50 or 100 or 200 years ago, except that...

This hotel is fantastically located for looking round Oxford. We had the modern annexe room which was compact but had all the amenities we wanted. It was clean and comfortable and less than a minute from the main hotel where we had an excellent buffet breakfast. There was also a lovely sitting room with a television for guests' use and...

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in the beginning of november. It really was a positive experience. Bath place hotel is a small, cosy and charming little hotel. Its history goes back to the 17th century, and there are parts of the old city wall still preserved in its breakfast restaurant. Situated very central in Oxford, it is an...

We booked the hotel through the visitor's information office in the City upon our arrival. We wanted accommodation within walking distance of everything as were only had one night to see the City. The Bath Place Hotel is ideally located. While the room was very small it had everything we needed. I was abit worried that the pub next door...
