My wife and I stayed here for several nights, attracted by the rave reviews from various sources. I can't say we were terribly disappointed, and we perhaps would stay here again, but here were some areas that should be noted. First, the positives: Burlington House is well maintained with spotless (if small) ensuite facilities. A helpful and cheery staff. Good...

Fifth time staying at this beautiful B&B and it is always a pleasure to return as they never fail to surprise me with their outstanding service and warm welcoming rooms. Breakfast is 5*! Me and My partner wouldn't want to stay anywhere else ! ( new lady is so lovely and cannot wait to return for our summer break)

Great location in Summertown, just on the outskirts of Oxford, on the main road into the city with lots of buses or a 40min walk. Parking off road but not exactly secure but I would say safe enough. It is sold as 5 star but I don't agree, the rooms are quite small but beds nice, bathroom (in our room...

I stayed here for one night while on business. Nice clean spacious room. Comfortable bed. Ensuite a little pokey but well finished throughout. Friendly staff. Only downside was that having arranged the arrival time and rung the front doorbell, I had to wait a few minutes before someone came to open it. The intercom may not work that well. All...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Burlington House hotel for one night while visiting Oxford. This hotel is a great base to explore Oxford from. It is located outside of the city, which means peace and quiet, yet it is easy to get to the city (15min on the bus). The room itself was very large and comfortable, and...

This property is a 5 * house hotel, but in my opinion it only deserves 3 * - average. Nothing fancy or high class of this place. We had two nights here, and on the day of arrival i got a message that the reception closes at 7 p.m., so what time we expected to be there. Well we managed...

The fit out is elegant and comfortable. The ensuite is a pleasure to use, beautifully tiled and accessorised and the breakfast a treat. Bus to Oxford centre just outside the door yet the area still retains the quietness you'd want. Local shops a two minute walk. Nes the host couldn't be more helpful, frankly l wouldn't bother with anywhere else!

This house is very modern and nice. Good parking, good location to get in to the city. It's an easy 40 min walk if you want the stroll or a simple bus journey if you want a beer or two without the walk. The room we stayed in (room 15) was recently redecorated and was excellent. The only thing an...

We have stayed here several times over the past four years and have always had a good experience. Everything is pretty spotless and breakfast is a treat (especially the granola and hand baked bread). They have renovated and added some new rooms recently and the small ultra-modern bathroom is an eye-opener. No doubt we will be book well ahead for...
