Enjoyed our stay here. All scrupulously clean, nice crisp sheets, newly refurbished bathroom and a good location within an easy walk or bus ride to Oxford city centre. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it (our choice).

From the greeting on our arrival through to when we departed after three nights, the owner and staff were friendly, smiley and helpful The room was nothing fantastic but more than adequate for what we wanted. The shower was a bit temperamental but worked OK. We had a room on the side of the building (room 2) which was quiet....

Spot on for what we needed. Owner couldn't have been more accommodating. Good facilities and very clean. Breakfast good, room cosy and bed very comfortable. Great location - bus stop close and very easy in and out of City. Very good pub opposite too. Many thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Our visit did not start well. On arriving at Reception at just past 2pm with our bags we were met by a receptionist on the phone (clearly to someone much more important than us). She interrupted the call to ask if we wanted anything. We indicated that we wanted to check in (pretty obvious with our bags one would have...

After reading the reviews here, I was expecting to meet the devil himself. We were actually greeted by a very polite man! The room was fine, a bit of dust here and there, but the bedding was clean and so was the toilet and shower. Great price and a lovely breakfast!

This is a wonderful little guest house with good transportation to the botanical gardens, city center, and university (if you don't want to walk the 20 minutes). The family who runs it is warm, welcoming, and fun. The place is very clean, beds are comfortable (cotton sheets), en suite bath, tea-making facilities in the rooms, and a cooked breakfast. I...

This is a gem in a VERY overpriced city. The rooms was very clean and neat. Not the best shower and a bit old but everything is very carefully looked after by the friendliest staff north of the equator. Nothing was too much effort and the personal touch makes all the difference. Considering everything could not have made a better...

We stayed here for 5 nights in July. The rooms were upstairs on the 2nd floor and the stairs are steep and narrow. Room was clean and comfortable but the bed was sunken in the middle. Bathroom fine, but small. Excellent cooked breakfast, prepared and served to order. Very friendly and helpful management/proprietors. Rather pricey accommodation though.

We only stayed one night here but we were very impressed. The room was absolutely spotless and was of a high standard. The breakfast was very good and the whole place was very calm. On the morning when we left it was raining and the manager behind the desk dropped us off in the city centre, which was much appreciated....
