I booked very late for this hotel (on the same day of arrival). I felt welcomed immediately on arrival, my bag was carried up to a warm room which had two comfortable and clean beds, a large bath and bathroom and a kettle with coffee as well as a good fruit bowl. There was no pressure to check out until...

A recent 2 days in November were my second stay here. Both the rail and bus station are an easy walk, the other surroundings are a bit unpreposessing but very easy access to more picturesque parts of the city. My single room was small but well maintained and had a number of thoughtful touches. Staff are helpful but this isn't...

Totally disappointing. Walked into the main entrance to find it was a Korean restaurant. All facilities sold off. Breakfast included but taken across the road at another establishment .room very basic for £150 a night hotel. Comfy bed. Tired otherwise. Best thing £5 parking in staples car park for 24 hours.

We only stayed for one night to visit some of the lovely colleges of Oxford. We were both pleasantly surprised. Given it is only a 3 star hotel, the welcome we received from reception was very good. Fruit, tea & coffe and biscuits in the room. Even little chocolates on our pillows! It is a little noisy but thats to...

- the room was a good size with 2 comfortable beds. - convenient location. close to train and bus station. - quiet - no lift - I think it's expensive.. we paid about 125 GBP a night for a twin room , breakfast not cluded. But most hotels in Oxford are expensive...

Having stayed the last two nights in big chain hotels my first impression wasn't that favourable. It wasn't the more clinical contemporary styling that I had become used to. The gentleman on reception was very welcoming however the reception entrance was a little difficult to spot - being at the side rather than the front of the hotel - the...

The hotel is in a prime location 5 minute walk from the station, and 10 minutes from the town centre. On arrival we was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very friendly and helpful and carried our bags up to our room. We stayed on the second floor (no lift), the room was nice and equipped with everything we...

This is not a luxury hotel, but it fits in the spirit of Oxford. Very close to City Center, but far enough away to avoid the night noise. Small room, but cozy. I enjoyed my stay, and grateful that they allowed me to check in early. Could not be more convenient for the train station and main bus stop. To...
