Three friends away. It must have been refurbed, everything had the new smell. Lovely rooms, massive tv, comfy twin beds which sufficed as we all had our own rooms. Staff were exemplary, happy from the maintenance man up to the reception guys. Great choice for breakfast, cereals, full English, continental. Would definately return.. I must say, I'm English but I...

Very expensive for a basic room no frills and basic. Breakfast was ok. Small bar with only bottled beer. Ok if you just want to rest sleep and watch the world go by. Free parking and WIFI Rooms tidy Looks like hotel is being expanded and close to town

Stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip and was very impressed with the hotel. Very smart and modern, all the staff were extremely pleasant and happy to help. Breakfasts were excellent with a good variety and plentiful supply. Bedrooms were well appointed - I had an executive room with bathrobes, full tea and coffee making facilities and ironing...

On the plus side it is clean and I would guess has been recently redecorated. Breakfast staff friendly. About 15 minutes walk from City Centre. On the negative, the shower in our room 204 would not stay in place and kept turning toward the wall giving the wall a shower rather than me. An alarm went off in the middle...

Many thanks for taking the time to post your review. I'm pleased that you found the hotel to be clean and the staff friendly. I apologise for the shower, which we have repaired today, and the fire alarm sounding, which is for everybodies safety and security, and was activated by another guest room. With regards to the Car Park Charges...

Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the city-centre and, as such, charges less than the ones closer to the centre. Car -parking is free for hotel residents (provided they have a permit from reception) The rooms are small and comfortable but not brilliantly furnished (I stayed in room 1 and the bottom of the bed had a hole in...

We checked in about 4pm and there had clearly been no heating on in our room all day, and with 2 exterior walls and an icy wind outside It was so cold we had to go out. And because the room was a good size it took an age to heat up, even with extra heaters. That aside the room...

Many thanks Tony for taking the time to post your review. I am pleased that you found the room to be a good size, comfortable and the staff to be pleasant and proficient. Your visit coincided with the record low temperatures with, as you point out, an icy wind not helping in any property. The hotel has undergone a major...

The problem with Oxford hotels is that they know they can get away with charging ridiculous prices and skimp on service. So it's reassuring to find a hotel that doesn't. Situated just off one of the main roads into the city, Linton Lodge offers off street parking (and it'll let you leave your car there the next day for a...
