We popped into The Queens on a whim and were with the benefit of hindsight disappointed that we did. Although the staff are friendly we waited ages for any service at all, despite there being four staff bustling around. We finally placed our order and settled down to wait. 15 minutes later we were told that the pie that 2...

We went to the Queens Head for two meals while we were staying in Horspath. The staff were amazing, really friendly and looked after us so well. Food was great and they even cooked dinner especially for us on the Monday night when they don't usually open the kitchen. Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

But when we arrived we were taken to two ground floor rooms at the back of the pub which were lovely and cosy. The room was exceptionally...

Free wifi on site was a huge bonus and the staff were excellent. nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to stay here again in fact we are looking to go back for...

Jane & Paul are gradually getting this lovely village inn back to where it was 20 years ago, and have the formula right! It's a locals pub, but so near to Oxford, a gem. They also stock the beers on draught from the local Shotver Brewery, heaven or not?

Located just outside of Oxford, it gave us an opportunity to experience to life in the countryside. The Pub food was great and the local people were very friendly. The staff was extremely helpful. The room location (in relation to the Pub) presented a challenge. To let in air we had to open a window which meant we experience smoke...
