The staff here are so helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. Wi-Fi in your bedroom, if it does not work just let the reception know and a quick reset fixes it or I think they will even lend you an Ethernet cable. Room 202 twin on the 2nd floor was spacious, warm, quiet, bathroom had beautiful tiles. Everything...

The hotel is very nice with all sort off stairs leading you to your room. The room we had was on the third floor and the view is awesome! Breakfast croissants are very tasty and the staff very friendly!

I just completed another overnight stay at The Buttery and once again had a delightful experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of historic Oxford, with easy access to a number of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, and of course, many colleges. The room was clean with modern amenities. I look forward...

Great position- great food - toilet could be a bit cleaner! Otherwise this would be 5 stars - But definitely recommended!! Panini's very good and freshly cooked- we had cheese, ham cheese and tomato plus roasted vegetables- all very tasty- and coffee was hot and quality!

Delux dobleroom is very warm and clean. Bed is comfortable and big enough for two, but you may need some earplugs because of the noise from the street. Bathroom is clean and shower is good, but there is no space for bottles. Breakfast includes also tomatoes and fruits.

We stayed in a room above the street and turned on the fan to block out any street noises so slept fine. The room was okay. As others have said, there are stairs and no elevator. This was fine by us but could be a serious problem for others especially as you even have to walk upstairs to the reception...

Allowed us to check in to our room much earlier than the expected time which was appreciated. They were also happy to look after our bags on the day of checkout which was great as we could continue to look around Oxford without all the baggage. The great advantage to this hotel is the fact it's so central to everything...

My husband and I spent a week at The Buttery Hotel on our honeymoon. A friend who had stayed there twice recommended it. The central location was a plus. We didn't need a car, just took the bus from Heathrow and walked 10 minutes to the hotel. We could walk to everything in town: restaurants, pubs, museums, shops, the University,...

Really amazing location next to Trinity College and very easy stroll to cafes and restaurants. Comfortable clean room, the only improvement could be the breakfast which was quite basic, otherwise friendly staff and good place to stay in central Oxford.
