4 of us stayed during a conference in a 6 bedroom. The rooms were not very big, but sufficient and there was a good breakfast included. Considering the prices in Oxford, this hostel is offering great value, even when sharing with others. It can be noisy from the surrounding pub during the weekend, but in fairness, this should be expected...

Nice hostel with plenty of room to chill and a big terrace. Bedrooms were confortable and bathrooms clean...kitchen had plenty of elements to cook..they provide earplugs for the outside noise. It is near the city center.

This is a good hostel at a reasonable price. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, free breakfast as well. There is a nice TV-room and the bedrooms were clean and got comfy beds. A bit noisy outside though...but all in all I was happy with the central backpackers, would recommend. Ps: don't bring way to much luggage like I...

Staff not very helpful neither friendly, the beds are horrible! Imposible to sleep, and being surrounded by pubs doesnt help at all. Is very noisy, the hostel even supplies free earplugs, so you can have an idea how loud it gets there. Breakfast wasnt great neither, very poor.

We stayed for three nights and were happy with our stay. Very clean hostel with medium comfortable beds, lovely painted walls in the room and overall clean bathrooms. Nice staff but the hostel is located in the neighbourhood of quite a few discos so it's extremely noisy at night. Free ear plugs were a very welcome help! We'll be back!

Great, pretty cheap for the place. Nice people! A little bit noisy but it's the risk when you don' have your own room! Breakfast included, possibility to cook, TV room, small terrace where bbq took place in summer! Perfect for young travelers who want to meet people from all over the world

I'm a person who enjoys his ensuite bathroom and superking bed. It was the first time for me to stay in a Hostel. I was a bit unsure about staying in a room sharing with 7 others. But it turned to be a great experience. With a car park nearby and all the local clubs and restaurant it's nice to...

Best backpackers in England :-) Fantastic staff, cool little place in the centre of Oxford! Everything you need is just moments away. The hostel itself is super clean, fun and welcoming. I met some brilliant people here from all over the world! I shall return!

Really nice place, helpfull staff, very nice enviroment, very well located, a bit noisy buy it's ok. The terrace is fantastic. The only we did not like was the breakfast as we did not know what was available for us and we ended up going to the coffee next door. I definitelly will come back and recommend to all my...

Echoing what others have said, I enjoyed my 3 nights stay at a 8 person mixed dorm. It was spacious, and nobody snored. I arrived very early at 4am but Mic still checked me in, all the staff are so friendly, and I got to meet a bunch of solo travellers with the most interesting stories. Definitely a great place...
