I have never stayed in an HDV hotel before, and I am bound to say that the 'urban chic' style isn't really my thing (metal stairs, random girder supports in the middle of corridors/rooms etc), but I guess that's a taste issue! Positives: staff seemed very accommodating, I

Large comfortable room and well equipped , we had a small problem with blind in bedroom which was dealt with quickly. A more powerful light over basin would help while shaving. Walking distance to all amenities! A very comfortable stay on a three day break. Quality breakfast.

Hi dmaccallum63, Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review. I am very disappointed to read the review and would like to assure you that this is not our normal standard of service. I am especially disappointed about the confusion with the wine. I hope you will give us another chance and let us show that we are better than your initial experience. Thanks Jimmy

Stayed for a couple of nights and absolutely loved the hotel. The team were friendly, helpful and professional. The suite was a great spot to simply chill, the bed comfy and the bathroom decadent! Loved every minute! The breakfasts were huge, dinner in the Bistro was fabulous!

Is there car parking available and is the hotel reception open 24 hours?
Some limited parking on the street, but the hotel provides valet parking for a fee of £15 per night. Reception appeared to be open most if not all of the day/night
