4 of us popped into this great little pub to watch the rugby on Saturday and had The Steak and Ale Pie and Chicken and Tarragon which was absolutely delicious. Will defiantly be going back for some more. Fully recommended.
One night stay , very large room upstairs with enormous bed ! Comfy , but the en suite had no door separating it from the room . Shower in front of a large window . Dont shower with the light on after dark !

Our host was very nice and accommodating. We were originally placed in a room that was a bit small but quickly moved to a more spacious room. It is in a nice location and the full English breakfast is wonderful- kept us full till dinner.
Called in for lunch usually very busy but not to bad today. Sandwiches are huge with salad and chips, don’t be put off by the price of £8.00 because it’s big enough to share. Omelette and chips £11.50 huge again. Chicken and chips with a spice twist looked pretty good to me.…
