We booked in view of the good price and reputation. Bedroom furniture was junk chic, without the chic, don't think it wAs but smell of shake and act in corridors. We were told by another guest who had been there before to get down early for breakfast otherwise some items may not be available, .so we did, food so-so, Luke...

I didn't like this hotel at all. You have to pay up front for your room and find that it is an old tired room. The staff are rude. The owners / managers are not there. A load of Polish staff are running the place. I know of the owners and they are very shifty - Mr & Mrs Silver!

This hotel badly needs refurbishment! I don't mind a bit of character but it felt like we were walking into medieval times when we walked into our room! Also there were stains everywhere walls, seats, carpet the list is endless, we had to get a refund as we could not stay there! The only positive is the bar was nice...

Stayed for two nights over the new year period as we had enjoyed a previous visit. However this hotel could really do with some updating. We were allocated in the Coach House located in the grounds. The first problem we encountered was the lack of light when walking up a flight of stairs to our rooms. It was so dark...

On arrival the issue of a stained duvet cover was dealt with swiftly. Very warm room even with all the heating turned off. TV in room was displaying large subtitles which made watching it extremely irritating. It was unable to be changed (even by the service guy) as it wasn't the orignal remote control. (Even though it had a sticker...

A great little old fashioned hotel set in a great area for exploring. Although the rooms are dark and a little dated the hotel in general was quite quaint, it has a great pub attached to it which is very busy and atmospheric with great history regarding its former owner Keith Moon. We ate in the restaurant a couple of...

Bed: terrible Tv: no channels Shower: not joined to wall Floodlights: shining through window all night Brancaster was alright, and in my misjudgement I was told the shower was meant to be like that as it was a bath with shower attachment, so the holes in the wall where the bracket used to be must just be a feature! Maybe...

Booked this very good value hotel at last-minute, and they even accommodated my request for a bath, even though I'm sure these rooms weren't normally given to single occupants. Pleasant woman at reception, who was also very helpful in booking me a taxi for the following morning. Room right at the back of the hotel (on the street, but not...
