Lovely attic room full of character very clean, the staff are really friendly and work very hard. Great breakfast in the morning which was much needed after an evening drinking wine and listening to the very good band they had in the bar. I would recommend this venue.

We enjoyed one night in one of the lovely courtyard rooms (teal). Although a little small it was comfortable and perfect for a stop over. The roll top bath in the room was nice and the bed was spot on. Only downside of the room was that it was noisy. We could hear those upstairs walking about and we could...

Stayed here whilst visiting friends in the area, room was ok, bed very hard, could do with upgrading, breakfast 10/10 but in the evening the bar area very noisy and somewhat 'local'. The room could do with an upgrades well, it is looking very tired, would have to reconsider staying there again.

I had read some of the previous reviews and I will admit I was a bit worried about our stay, especially as the price for a night is more than I would normally pay for a hotel. However I am so glad I didn't listen, we have had an absolutely wonderful stay. Firstly the staff on the phone and email...

Visited the golden pheasant on a Saturday lunch time , busy but the service was still good. The food was average my husband had the beef burger and chips with all trimmings , it was homemade and he said it was delicious!!! I had fish, chips and mushy peas with tartar sauce . The fish was beautiful!! Slightly disappointed with...

The hotel from the outside is beautiful in a picturesque setting. Our room was in the attic and just as perfect looking. The only problems we had was: the bed was clearly broken and we just kept rolling into the middle of it, the heating was unbearably hot and we couldn't get the radiators to turn off. The bed head...

Unfortunately we found the staff to be particularly unhelpful. Except for one lady in the restaurant other members of staff seemed to find it difficult to be polite. The room was not in good condition. There was Mould in the bathroom, stains and tears in the carpet and the bathroom light was broken. Therefore this hotels is overpriced for the...

We very much enjoyed our stay at the pheasant. Pleasant, helpful staff with a super room being comfortable and beautifully furnished. Great breakfast too! Would highly recommend for a base in the beautiful Cotswolds.

Check in was straight forward enough, full payment required on check in (£140 twin room single occupancy for one night bed and breakfast). First impressions were positive it looks very good and it's a lovely town. Car park was small and already full, this is not surprising considering the location, we managed to park on the main high street without...

Dear Sir, We are sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your stay. We do ask for full payment on checkin for two reasons. Firstly the credit card companies no longer allow pre-authorisations and secondly, in the past where we have allowed credit we have found that some people have no credit on their cards and we are left...

We stayed here as a last minute booking because, if I'm honest, we couldn't find anywhere else with enough rooms to cater for our group. £140 for what turned out to be a very mediocre room with all the noise of the bar below though you kind of accept that considering it is a pub. We'd eaten in the pub...

We are sorry to learn that you did not enjoy the food in the evening. We have recently received a TripAdvisor Excellence award for our food, so its disappointing to learn that your meal wasn't up to our usual standard. I am not sure what dates you and your colleagues stayed at the Golden Pheasant Inn. We did recently have...
