Excellent welcome on arrival even on Cheltenham gold cup day. Out room at the rear of the inn was quiet with views over the gardens and countryside. Dinning was in a character dining room with a lovely wood burner and real country furniture. Food was consistently excellent across the whole menu ,we ate breakfast lunch and dinner and were very...

We stayed here last night with 4 of our friends to celebrate a 50th birthday - when we phoned the night before to advise them we would be arriving around 11am we were told we could only have our rooms if we paid an extra £10. We decided not to.. however when we got there a lovely woman told us...

It was a cosy traditional English style Inn. Very welcoming staff, lovely breakfast selection. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We stayed for dinner which was delicious. The location of the Inn was perfect and within a few minutes drive from amenities. We would definitely return in the future. Thank you :)

We were passing so stopped in for breakfast. The traditional full English was delicious. Bacon, fried eggs, country sausage, black pudding, grilled tomato, mushrooms and toast. Generous and cooked to perfection. The real bonus was homemade Seville orange marmalade! The breakfast menu included, kippers, poached haddock, omelettes, bacon or sausage butties with marmalade and brown sauce! Coffee is served in...

We stayed here when going to Cotswold Wildlife Park, It was a charming place and we liked it a lot, or only criticism is that it was a little chilly in the room. That said, it was not too cold that it was uncomfortable and it was not cold enough to complain.. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in a four poster bedroom and had an excellent stay. The food and atmosphere on New Year's Eve were superb and added to a most enjoyable occasion. We particularly enjoyed the venison in juniper berries which was cooked exactly to our individual requirements, and the complimentary champagne helped to welcome in...

Went here with my partner. Had a lovely meal and stay in such a quaint old pub. Warm atmosphere and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be returning. Next time will definitely be longer though.
