Four great nights B&B at star cottage. Comfortable, warm, good food and a great location for covering the Cotswolds. Peter and Sally made us most welcome and were very helpful about other places to go. Westonbirt Arbouretum was a great suggestion. Nice quiet location and easy parking right outside. We had the larger bedroom upstairs that nice and roomy for...

Set in a quiet location in a lane in the village of Fulbrook within easy reach of Burford. We enjoyed comfortable accommodation and warm welcome at this old Cotswold cottage. Sally is a talented artist and you can see her work on view in the cottage. We had an excellent breakfast each day prepared by Peter. Parking is on the...

A group of us have used Star Cottage as a base for our visit to Cheltenham races for several years now and we have always enjoyed our stay with Peter & Sally. The property is beautiful, the welcome warm, and the breakfast excellent (particularly like the sausage from the local butcher) As you would expect from a B&B of this...

Just back from the gorgeous Star Cottage. Friendly, relaxed welcome, stunning decor and lovely room on the coldest night of the year ticked all our boxes and more. We have stayed in many B&Bs on our travels but this one does really go beyond your average stay. Lots of lovely decor touches, plus thoughtful extras as well. Really nice. Breakfast...

A spacious, well-kitted and cosy self-catering cottage. You'd never guess that it used to be a barn. It was the perfect hideaway for a quiet evening in. The owner even went to the effort of decorating with a lit christmas tree.

The owners were very accommodating, providing goat's milk for my wife on request and putting an ice pack in the freezer for her dodgy ankle too. The breakfast choice was extensive. Fresh fruit, fresh croissant, cereal, toast (different breads), full English breakfast, porridge, smoked fish etc - fantastic and high quality ingredients. We stayed in bed 1 which was spacious...

This is a bit of a delayed review but when my partner and my friends were planning our Cotswolds trip, we spent weeks reviewing hotels, B&B’s, made comparison charts etc. Basically, choosing Star Cottage was a result of a meticulous study of very picky frequent travellers who are obsessed about staying at tasteful, well designed accommodations run by people who...

We stayed in a very comfortable room with large bed with room for another good bed for our teenage son. The connected large bathroom was very well presented. We looked into a converted barn to the rear of the property, this was very well built with a mezzanine floor for extra space/bed. The breakfast was simply delicious, with a very...
