Twelve of us stayed for three nights in the Manor House to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We usually stay in hotels but it would have been difficult to accommodate this number in one hotel. I do feel that 4pm is a little late to check-in as you have to leave at 10 am and therefore, practically lose a day. However,... More

We had a fantastic two night stay here and loved the access to the hot tub. On Arrival we were warmly greeted with Fresh robes, Towels and a bottle of Fizz. It was a lovely touch. Our housekeeper was lovely and helped us get onto the Wifi. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and I would definitely reccommend!

We stayed at the Deferrers cottage which sleeps 10. We could get early arrival as the cottage was ready for us which was great. Was greeted with a bottle of fizz which was a lovely touch. We all had fresh towels/ towels for the hot tub and even had robes provided too. The cottage is in a beautiful location and... More

We spent a mid week break at The Manor House, Harthill Hall and what an amazing place it is! We were looking for a place large enough for a get together with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday, but which would be fun for the kids too. This place fit the bill very well indeed. The facilities are excellent, with... More

We were booked in to Manners cottage, however on the day of our arrival we received good notice that there was a problem with the boiler. Therefore we were upgraded to Henry's Haunt. What an absolute delight! Our first stay here and the winding road up to the cottages set the scene of anticipation! Then to the lovely courtyard where... More

A group of 10 of us stayed in the Deferrers property from 15-18th April and I have to say, for the money we all paid (£80 each for 3 nights) I didn't expect anything as nice as what we got. The cottage was clean and cosy, the beds were comfy and the view from the Hot Tub was so beautiful.... More

Check in is 4pm which is late if you are only going for 3 nights and you have to check out by 10am. We arrived at 3.50pm and asked Lolly the Housekeeper if we could get access to the property. She said "Do you mind waiting the 10 minutes? As we are not finished yet" Not much of a warm... More

My hubby, 2 sons aged 10 and 17, ,my mum and me stayed here for a long weekend from 8-11th April. We have only just got back home and already we are missing the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. The property was spacious, authentically decorated, clean and well equipped. My 10 year old really loved the hot tub (as did... More

We have just returned from 3 nights in Manners, a 4 person apartment above the pool area at HartHill. We had such a lovely break - great location, beautiful views and for the most part a nice apartment. We didn't check TripAdvisor before booking, and possibly wouldn't have booked if we'd read some of the other reviews. There were a... More

The position of these cottages is great. The quality of the accommodation was poor. I joined a party for a stay and discovered the cost. To have a settee propped up with bricks was shocking. The so called sauna was a laugh- the door did not fit and this had been pointed out by a reviewer in September 2015- still not... More
