When arriving in the bar area, i was shouted/demanded at by a women what drink i want. The lady was who was wearing a suit jacket and must have been higher up didnt not make me feel comfortable on my first arrival at the walnut...More

Hi Sue, Many thanks for your enquiry. We do offer Lunch on Christmas Day and it is £70 per head, £42 for children under 13. Kind Regards The Walnut Tree Inn

I would say possibly yes. Our room looked out to the road at the front of the hotel and we could hear the bar but it was a Saturday night so possibly busier?
