Pleasantly surprised for what you get for your money. Spotlessly clean bedding and really comfortable bed. Tired bathroom but immaculate and really hot water. Working TV! Superb breakfast... very friendly and hardworking staff...thank you.

Dirty room, twin beds pushed together and bed linen which did not fit. No bath plug, no safety grab rail to aid getting out of the shower over bath, no blinds in the bathroom only privacy glass - main road so visible when lights on. Water stained ceiling. Dust covered light shade. Dirty hall, stairs and entrance. Noisy nightclub opposite...

I've stayed here a couple of times when I can't get a room at my usual hotel. I was expecting the worse having read some reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and tidy, service was good, excellent location, loads of parking. Can't comment on the included breakfast as I was in a rush but it looked okay....

Irresistible Victorian architecture, large room with a bay window, large but slightly outdated bath and a magnificant breakfast. Add this to a friendly staff and the only minuses are the lack of an elevator and a hotel bar that closes at 11 AM on a saturday night.

Well where do I start. First and foremost the staff where top class, helpful cheerful and not able to do enough to help. BUT the room left a LOT to be ...... King size bed with double quilt that doesn't fit, only one bedside table, no bedside lamps only main room light, nice corner bath supported on blocks, plug sockets...

Where on earth to start...? How about I'll start with the positives. I could park right outside the room for easy packing and a quick getaway? The Roof didn't leak? It's not on fire - that may have been an improvement if it was. First there was a minor problem with our booking via booking.com but in fairness that was...

The place needs redecorating from top to toe. The accommodation is only basic but they are charging as if it is a 5-star hotel. Avoid if you can there are much better hotels in and around Northampton.

Very basic dark and horrible room which was dirty and probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Staff, with the exception of one lovely barmaid, were rude. Noise from the road kept everyone awake. Bedroom light was too dim to see anything. Breakfast was horrible, customers were constantly asking for things as it wasn't being topped up or...

Really wasn't what we was expecting, rooms very low standard & not very clean. Bathroom & toilet was shared which we wasn't made aware of, dodgy tv & remote. Was really disappointed. Lots of stairs & walking to do to find room & no lift. We slept in & missed breakfast but when we got up at 11am we asked...

Our first, deluxe, room hadn't been cleaned when we were assigned it at 4pm. The next room, a family room - the only other deluxe room available- was made, that's about as good as it got. The double bed was so soft you disappeared inside it. The walls had bubbling and pealing plaster from damp and dirty, the shower was...
