Lovely room. Nice owner.no hassle. Cooked breakfast is fantastic value for what you get. Freshly made coffee. Bathroom is nice. Would stay here again. Decent price for the standard of the room. Comfortable bed. Turned the heating down as the room was toasty.

Good, no nonsense B&B, good, clean and a great price. Nice owner who was very friendly. Food was good and we would happily stay there again. Beware about parking the car round the back, you can be blocked in.

Lovely little guest house, with lovely staff, ideally situated for the town centre, with in walking distance of both the train station and all of york town centre amenities. Breakfast was good lovely home cooking enough to see you to lunch time easily, no noise on a night, bed was quite comfortable, and a four poster hence the name, room...

We had the attic room and it was clean warm and had a comfy bed,it would not suit everybody because the shower cubicle is actually in the bedroom and a small private toilet outside the room, this was not a problem for us though,it is not exactly in keeping with the Victorian theme but space is limited in attic's with irregular...

Nice welcome when we got there. Clean and pleasant room - shower over the bath might be a problem for some and the water temperature can be a little eccentric. Good full English breakfast and offer of more. Parking is somewhat limited actually on the premises, but there was plenty of space in the street behind. Fourposter Lodge is positioned...

We just spent a couple of nights here. The place is lovely! We slept in room n.12, a lovely room well fournished, very clean, bright and comfortable. Shirley is really kind and available, and her place is really a good place to sleep in, quite cheap also. Breakfast is good, nothing special, but good enough. The internet runs perfectly, the...

The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. We were within walking distance to the centre of York. We were going to the races the proprietress ordered us a taxi to ensure we got there on time. Nothing...

The room was simple, a bit dated and smelly. WC was separate to the room. Shower was inside the room. Breakfast was average. Budget b and b....get what you pay for, didn't expect anything more really. Good location.

Thank you for your feed back. I'm sorry room 11 wasn't to your liking, as you state it is a basic room, all details are shown on the webpage, hence reflected in a cheap rate. It is due however for a revamp next week although I will still be keeping the Victorian feel. Thank you
