Great accomodation a bit off the beaten track but well worth it with very spacious room and on-suite equipped with Tea, Coffee and bottles of water - The cooked breakfast was very substantial and most enjoyable - The owners werevery gracious, helpful and friendly so no complaints whatsoever

Lovely location off the beaten track (but don't worry - easily findable) - very comfortable, quiet, in the middle of the countryside. Warm welcome from proprietors who were very helpful, couldn't do enough for us. Bedrooms a pleasure to stay in - beds so comfortable. Breakfasts adaptable and plentiful. This is now on our list of 'regular places to stay'...

The delight of hospitality and welcome at Morsel House, a former farmhouse and the proprietors home, is in a different league to being in a more 'commercial' B&B and much better value than pricier comparisons in nearby Knaresborough. The breakfasts are plentiful, beds are really comfortable with good quality linen, and there is good food to be had at a...

This is the most beautiful Bed and Breakfast stay I have ever experienced. Not only is beauty in the eye of the beholder due to the decor and comfort but also because the hosts are so welcoming and so obliging. Their friendliness and attention to detail makes all the difference. Stay at Morsel House now!!

We found this place in our frustrating last minute search for a reasonable hotel or B&B near the abbeys of Yorkshire, and so glad I found them. The place is hard to find due to lack of signages in the site or along the way, but owners will initiate guiding you. It's a lovely 'mini-stately home' in middle of a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a family run bed and breakfast placed conveniently between York, Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and Wetherby.Formerly a working farm, the style of Morsel house is very much in the traditional farmhouse manner. The rooms are appointed as a private house would be and not as an hotel. Breakfast is prepared from locally sourced produce as far as is possible. We are set in a rural location and, although there are excellent nearby links by local and national rail, the A1(M) and Leeds Bradford Airport, a car is really needed as we are some three miles from the nearest rail halt.Visitors to York and the surrounding towns, those attending events at the Harrogate Conference Centre, the Great Yorkshire Show, The Harrogate Flower Show as well as people who wish to explore the North Yorkshire National Park, Herriot country or Bronte country will find that they are all in easy reach and that Morsel House offers a quiet and tranquil haven tucked away down a cul de sac - accessible but away from the bustle of it all. ... more   less
