Made to feel very welcome, the hotel is top quality, every thing is perfect, the location is very good, only a 10 min walk down into town, they offer free parking and a shuttle twice a day. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are what you would find in a 4 or even 5 star top chain but with a family...

10 minute walk to the walled area and a bus outside every 10 minutes during the day. The owners also do a shuttle service at certain times of the day. There is parking but limited so maybe arriving earlier is a thought. There is a very secure entry system to both the guest house and the room.

York has everything within easy walking distance, great pubs and pub food, lovely shops and of course steeped in history. Would definitely return again and if so would stay at the Tower guest house. Nothing was to much trouble for our host Tony, very clean accomodation, lovely breakfast, great choice of special rooms and handy for town.
