Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. A beautiful hotel in a convenient location for visiting York City Centre, you can walk easily to everything the city has to offer. Lovely breakfast, clean, comfortable room with excellent facilities. Good value for money. A faultless and enjoyable stay. Thank you.

We recently spent 3 nights in York at the St Denys and were delighted with the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, with large windows. We were toward the back of the hotel -- quiet! The breakfasts were cooked to order. My favorite things: poached pears with yogurt and walnuts to start, poached eggs to follow. After a full...

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the very beginning we had a very friendly greeting. We had arrived early so our room wasn't ready however we were very well looked after and given a map to show us where everything is in the city. The hotel is in a perfect location and it is only...

Had a wonderful stay at the st Denys hotel in York. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfasts were delicious! The hotel is also very good for gluten free too as I have coeliac disease. Would highly recommend and hope to return again in the future.

Lovely 3 night stay at this sweet and quirky place. Comfy beds, really thoughtful extra touches (umbrellas, face wipes, proper hairdryers) and just the sweetest staff you could wish for. Garden was an extra treat if the weather is kind to you. Breakfasts were yummy. The location is spot on, being so close to everything, but also tucked out the...

This was our second visit to St Denys hotel which we visited for a 2 night break from 19th to 21st April. The location is perfect in that the hotel is only a 10 mins walk from York Minster, 5 mins from the Shambles and two minutes to excellent restaurants. You cannot fault the friendliness of the staff as they...

We truly enjoyed four days in York and our stay at St Denys Hotel. Every person on staff is welcoming and very helpful. The hotel and accommodations are charming. The location is terrific, because all the downtown attractions are a short walk away. And what can I say about the breakfast? It was quick, fresh, locally sourced and delicious. I...

The most friendly welcome we've ever had from a hotel. It's a very good location close to the city centre and lots of good restaurants. Quite a noisy road though that calms down about 11pm and starts up again early morning. Room was a king size de-luxe. A big bed but the room was a standard size compared with other...
