Arrived at Corner Farm after a busy day at York Christmas market. We were greeted by Tim and his lovely dog Bess. After giving us a tour of our rooms and the facilities, we were offered a lovely hot drink and one of Sharon's delicious homemade Bakewell mincemeat tarts. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had the double room and... More

Tim and Sharon are the perfect hosts and we received a warm welcome and their fantastic hospitality was maintained throughout a week stay. We have stayed in both their farmhouse and cottage garden villa and can thoroughly recommend both. Each is spacious, have huge comfortable beds with lovely linen and the food are first class and plentiful. The toiletries were... More

Absolutely perfect is best way to describe this. From the large comfy bed we wanted to take home with us to the friendly owners Tim and Sharon this was an idyllic 2 night stay. The breakfast was hot with lots of variety and the best herb omelette I have ever tasted. We will definitely stay here again.

Warm, cosy, welcoming and a yummy breakfast which included home-grown ingredients. We've stayed before (and I've reviewed it before) and it is consistently excellent. Heartily recommend. The pub in the village does lovely meals too.

Stayed for three night in September 2016. Very nice summer cottage, roomy with lots of little extras..... Milk, Bread, eggs, butter, jam etc. Nice walled garden to sit out in. Tim and Sharon are perfect hosts. If we are in the area again we will stay here again. Highly recommended

My wife and I very much enjoyed our short stay at the Corner Farm Garden House. It was a kind of 'pick and mix' stay-half B&B and half self-catering, with all facilities available. We slept well in the comfortable double bed, and the house was warm, light and spacious. It was very quiet apart from the birdsong. Tim and Sharon looked... More

We stayed here while visiting our niece in a nearby village. Our hosts, Tim and Sharon Stevens, warmly welcomed us with Yorkshire Tea and home-made chocolate cake in their lovely garden. This set the tone for our stay. Excellent food, with homemade preserves and apple juice from their own orchard particularly tasty. The accommodation was very comfortable. This was a... More

We had two lovely nights here, en-route to a wedding. Lovely hosts, beautiful rooms and amazing breakfasts. Kids loved playing with Tess the dog. Highly recommended as a base from which to explore the area.

Had the chance to stay there when cottage first opened. It was amazing, the owners were great, and the food outstanding. When we get overseas and back to York, we will stay again. Plus, the area is so nice and quite. Charming doesn't quite do justice.

It was a pleasure to stay here, we stayed in the Garden Cottage after we were upgraded, a pleasant surprise, lovely garden, great facilities and fantastic walks, with a friendly Host in Tim giving us plenty of info on the area including York. This is a must to stay at, would love to go back one day soon.
