Really enjoyable stay in the Jade Attic this Whitby Goth Weekend. The room was charming, clean and tidy and although there's a few low beams (remember to duck) it's a great place to stay. The bathroom is next door rather than being fully en-suite - can't help thinking that moving the door would make it a fully en suite room....

Our room was advertised as a superior double and it certainly was. It was huge with a comfortable double bed and sofa and, having windows both sides, it was very light and airy. A well stocked hospitality tray also included bottled water - always a nice touch. Unfortunately there was no shower but a long soak in the huge bath...

Stayed for a two night stay 7th & 8th April in Chocolate Shop Cottage. As we've previously stayed at Sanders Yard (Room 1, Dove Cottage, The Old Dispensary and Jade Attic) this cottage was new to us. As ever the accommodation was perfect. Beautifully decorated with the usual charm you'd expect, central to all amenities on the old part of...

Firstly I would like to start this review by saying after all the positive reviews some people may say have these people reviewed the right place and yes we have, we stayed at "The old dispensary cottage" This was ironically our second stay at Saunders Yard, though we stayed in the main building previously in "Jades Attic" it will probably...

We have stayed many times in the main B&B property, but this time we were given the opportunity to stay in one of their delightful cottages. The Old Dispensary is indeed "Old" apparently some 500 years! But it has bags of charm an is so warm and inviting. It has only 3 rooms, one above the other, Kitchen, with comfy...

Got peckish so called in not knowing what the food was like. It's hidden away in the back streets over the bridge and needs a little searching to find it but well worth it.Lovely decor and Wow the food was absolutely brilliant and good portions. Can't wait to go back.

Hidden away up a small alley is a gem of a place. The décor is great but the food is better. Had a sausage and bacon sandwich for brunch. Tea served straight away but long wait for the sandwich, the reason, it was freshly cooked. Well worth the wait. it was great. The place is real gem and worth finding....
