Two nights in room 2. Lovely room very tidy, as always in showers these days there is always some mould. It leaked at the bottom too. Breakfast was brilliant cooked just how we asked for it good quality ingredients. Would have higher floor when we stay again. Great location.

As I had been disappointed by National chain hotel just down the road I decided to give the Pier Hotel a try. I was definitely not disappointed here. Good choice of beers and food, with friendly and helpful staff. I chose a jumbo size beer battered cod with chips, minted mushy peas and tartare sauce. It was very tasty, hot...

Went here for Christmas lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was exceptional and well worth the money that we paid. We needed somewhere dog friendly and this place fitted the bill perfectly, he was made to feel as welcome as us humans! Would definitely visit...

On the harbour front. Busy doggy friendly pub with the most fantastic chips! Staff are efficient and very friendly. A few tables outside and letting bedrooms (although we haven't stayed) Great stop off point and many friendly dogs use it as their local, which is fab. We will call in again next visit to Whitby. Live music on Fridays and...
