A friend and I stayed just one night at the Argyle. From the outside it looks as if it maybe needs a bit of 'TLC' but we needn't have worried. A very friendly welcome and our room was spotlessly clean with very modern facilities, the on-suite bathroom was lovely. The television provision was second to none, with Sky and films...

Thank for staying with us and for your lovely comments. Indeed, there are some area that do need a bit of TLC, but we are getting there slowly. Our most priority is all the technology is in place, so our guest can enjoy them while they are with us. If you ever in town, look us up. Kind regards Lily

Stayed at the Argyle in Whitby, we had the loft room, the room was great itself and the breakfast lovely. I would say if your a pensioner don't stay in the loft room since the last flight of stairs is pretty steep and narrow. The only other minor point is the parking in Whitby, as with most of the guest...

Awesome place to stay, would highly recommend, very friendly staff. This was our second stay, both rooms we stayed in were spotless and comfy with a big tv with all the latest movies. The first time we went we stayed in room 8 which is a bit of a trek up the stairs but worth it for the room, the...

We were really struggling to find a vacancy after deciding to stay an extra day. This was a lovely surprise. Two rooms for the price of one ( as has been mentioned by others ) and all very clean and tidy with a lovely breakfast !

We stayed here for three nights in February - we pretty much had the place to ourselves, there was one other couple here but as it was out of season the guest house was otherwise very quiet. We were very satisfied with our room and the stay in general - we stayed on the top floor in the attic (not...

Booked this due to the good reviews on trip advisor, and it was a really nice place to stay. On arrival we were told that our room had been upgraded, as the lady was redecorating the original room we had booked. Our room had a small sitting room joined on, with a sofa and tv, so we had two rooms...

Booked through laterooms and got the small room as advertised on the website. Arrived early and received a lovely warm welcome, advice on parking and was able to check in. The four day parking permit was a nice surprise and removed the issue of moving the car each day. Room was small but well decorated with a nice new bathroom...
