We stayed at Cook's Quarters for 2 nights during Whitby Folk Week. We chose to stay during folk week in August as we thought Whitby would be buzzing, and sure enough it was as the temperature soared to the late 20s! :-) The Victorian house is just beautiful and has been renovated to a very high standard. Lisa made us...

Me and Kate stayed here for 2 nights after our Audi track day up at Croft. Never been to Whitby before, but defo going to stay with Lisa in 2017 again. Parking is a slight bug bear, but to be fair, that's how most accommodations are in Whitby. If you see a space near on the road, grab it and...

Was so lucky there was availability for the night we stayed or we wouldn't have found this little gem. Being frequent visitors to Whitby, we are very aware of the need to book in advance, but this was a spontaneous trip. If this website is not showing availability, do go to the Cook's website and double check! When we arrived...

My husband and I received a very warm welcome from Lisa on arrival at Cooks Quarters. The house is very clean, tastefully decorated and ideally placed for the attractions. We took our 2 granddaughters aged 9 and 5 and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay, especially as Lisa was so friendly. They loved the large family room with very comfy beds....

Myself and boyfriend were there for 2 nights last week. Made to order breakfast, which was yummy, which sets you up for day. Superb location, A very short distance away from the centre of Whitby - just a 10 min walk. The room was lovely, airy and quite. Slept really well. Will definitely stay again. Just a note, anyone who...

Really glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The routes to Scarborough are all excellent as you say, from the bus you see all of the sights, Walk along the spectacular cliff tops, Peddle or walk along the disused railway line, or for a shorter trip Robin Hoods Bay is about half way at 6 miles and you can get...

Excellent service. Great breakfast and a pleasant stay. Will be coming back the next time I revisit Whitby. Stayed at various B&Bs/hotels in Whitby in the past and this one stands out by a mile. It's location is perfect too.

Just come back from a 3 night stay here. We had the family room 2 adult & 1 Child we couldn't of asked for anything more. The room was clean, the beds were very comfy, well stocked tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast brilliant. Great location for Whitby & areas around. Perfect place to stay so welcoming would definitely return. Thankyou.

Probably one of the friendliest B&Bs I've stayed at. Our room was perfect for us - really comfy firm bed, nice synthetic pillows (I usually cause trouble because I can't have feather ones, so perfect from my side of things!) a really nice big dressing table and a good powerful shower. It was cosy and nicely furnishedand we ended up...

Thanks for the excellent review, don't know which way into town you were taking but you can just walk a few minutes down Saint Hilda's terrace from here no staircase or cliffs involved were always happy to give directions, hope to see you again soon. Liza

Lovely little place. Clean, excellent cooked breakfast and spacious rooms with nice decor. Very close to Whitby town centre and attractions. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Brilliant value for money and we would most definitely stay here again.
