This hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main town/harbour area and about 5 minutes from the beach. It's a nice quiet area to relax in after enjoying the main town centre. We had a lovely warm welcome and were shown up to our room. The room was to the front of the building, nice large room, comfy...

For a *** hotel, I was expecting a little more for my £134 for a deluxe twin room. However, the room was airy and clean, the bed not too firm or too soft and the en-suite was clean. I did not have the all inclusive breakfast so cannot comment. The check in staff were very polite, friendly, attentive and helpful.

I've just stayed at the Saxonville Hotel for 1 night. Upon arrival I was greeted with a very helpful receptionist. I instantly got a great feeling about the place & its cleanliness. We got shown to our room & again it was very clean. The decor was immaculate, the bathroom was spotless & the bed was comfortable. We went downstairs...

We just spent 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is located about a 10 minute walk from town and it has parking which is a huge bonus! Beautiful breakfast with full waitress service was included, the staff were all very welcoming and eager to please. The only downside was dragging our luggage up 2 flights of stairs as...

The hotel is in a great location for all of Whitby's attractions. Breakfast is delicious, with enough choices to keep most diets covered. Only downside was the large number of stairs and no lift. If, like me, you have dodgy knees, ask for a room on the ground floor.

This hotel is really lovely and made us feel like we had stepped back in time. The staff was super friendly, the room was very clean, and breakfast was out of this world. The breakfast was cooked to order with white table clothes, fancy silverware and a uniformed wait staff. The wait staff were incredible and super friendly. We were...

Lovely welcome at reception and very friendly staff in every area. Good size clean room with all usual conveniences. The only grouse is the thin walls allowing conversations and other"noises" to filter through. The door latches mean that most people slam the door which not a good idea if you want an early night or late morning. We dined for...

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. If you are used to "sterile" hotels don't go. This hotel is comfortable, clean with exceptional customer service. Our room was lovely and great thought had gone into making it comfortable. The staff greeted everyone pleasantly and were all smartly dressed. At breakfast it was a nice change to be "served" our breakfast...
