Went for drinks in the sun followed dinner on a visit to Goathland last night and I'm so glad we chose here. The beer garden was lovely and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, huge portions and the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. We'll be returning as staying guests soon I hope.

Visited Goathland for a couple of days and heard that the Inn on the Moor was open after a refurbishment, and what a transformation. Cosy little nooks in which to eat in the bar and a lovely lounge area with comfy chairs and soft lighting. Good range of drinks, particularly gin (!) and my husbands three favourite beers. Tasty home-cooked...

Our family visited The Inn On The Moor for a meal on the14th April. What a transformation, the staff were superb and the food and service couldn't be faulted. My wife and I visited again two days later and once again no problems with the food and service. At last an establishment to give the other eating places in Goathland...

This establishment has been closed for some time and is under new ownership. We called in for a drink - the bar/restaurant areas have been significantly refurbished, there is a decent bar menu and the grounds are well tended and pleasant for sitting outside in the sun

Only reopen for drinks at the bar at this point in time but a couple of things strike you immediately. Firstly, the ground floor refurb has produced a comfortable, contemporary & contained bar area (separate from the rest of the ground floor and conservatory area which is now a pleasant lounge area). The décor & feel really have jumped 40...

Run by Elena and her family this is a fantastic country home from home at the heart of an incredibly beautiful and remote village. Décor and ambience is from a previous generation which makes the hotel charming, timeless and very relaxing. The rabbit warren of rooms are all en-suite, clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Four poster beds are available...
