We stayed at Raithwaite Hotel April12th to April 14th. This hotel is in the most beautiful location. We arrived early our room was not ready so we had a walk. At 3p.m. we checked in, our room was very nice, small modern bathroom. We were happy. Then at 5p.m. my husband used the bathroom and found we had no hot...

Just returned from a four day break at Raithwaite Hall - staying in an Executive room with balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Warmly welcomed by Lucy on Reception and Simon who explained the layout of the hotel and grounds and gave good information about the local area. Our room was spotlessly clean and well laid out with a good size...

Just returned from a very enjoyable Easter weekend at the raithewaite hotel. We took our granddaughter , and she had the best time ever. Really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt that was organised for the children. The staff are very helpful and obliging , and Simon is a credit to the hotel, cannot do enough to help you. Our room...

We recently spent 2 nights in one of the very well appointed 2 bedroom cottages. Beautifully appointed with high quality fittings and everything thought of-towels/robes and essentials tea/coffee/milk biscuits and even bowls and treats for the dogs! Other than a poor start with a very grumpy lady on Poachers Bar, on Sunday when we arrived, all the rest of the...

This was our first stay at the Raithwaite Estate, but it won't be our last. Everything was right from the moment the door was opened for us with a friendly greeting to the moment we left. The location, the food and the genuinely warm and friendly staff were all excellent. The gym is tiny and so not as well equipped...

Our first visit for an Easter escape and well worth it in fact we had a wonderful time not least due to the location, landscape and impeccable service we experienced from every member of staff we came across. We chose to stay in an executive room in the Hall so we got a feel for the place and convenient for...

Just returned from overnight stay at Raithwaite Hall. Booked executive room last week via booking.com and contacted by hotel two days before stay to say we were booked into The Keep. This is a newer annex building. When we arrived we were informed that we had been upgraded to a junior suite in the main Hall! We were allocated the...

Stayed at Raithwaite Hall as a surprise for my birthday. I was slightly apprehensive before we arrived as I had only ever seen it from the road & didn't want to feel too out of place, or it be too posh for us.. but we were pleasantly surprised. Made to feel so welcome & staff couldn't do enough for us....
