Visited for Sunday lunch with friends, had a wonderful table with an amazing view. The Sunday lunch was well cooked, a good selection of roasts but you don't have to have a traditional Sunday lunch. We didn't have room for dessert as there was so much food. The staff are lovely we will be going again.

This hotel is situated a mere (absolutely gorgeous) twenty minute into town. The hotel is situated on the edge of a golf course and virtually on the cliffs, providing for a magnificent all round vista. Bar and restaurant look good although I didnt try either.

We arrived just as the chef was about to leave. We said we wanted soup and a sandwich and so they went to check. The chef said it wasn't a problem and I am pleased it wasn't. The soup was lovely, served with croutons and a warm roll. The sandwich was also excellent. The bread was so fresh. The service...

We stayed at the White House Inn for a Boxing Day two day break. We were allocated Room 7, which is a nicely sized double room, with settee, wall mounted TV and balcony with Sea View. The hotel is in a very nice location on the edge of town, probably a mile from the town centre. Our room was good...

I have purposely waited until receiving the 'all clear' from my GP before posting this review. My husband and I visited The White House between 13th -17th November, staying in room 8. The place was warm and welcoming, staff were friendly and efficient and the food was good too. There were some minor frustrations with the en suite bathroom, mainly...

Stayed here again recently but we were given what they call an "annexe" room which in fact is a dreadfully pokey and very small bedroom in a block in the car park. The only natural light is provided by a small skylight as there are no windows. The food isn't too bad although the service leaves a lot to be...

Friendly and helpful staff. Food simple but well cooked. Room comfortable, sea views not visible from the bed, only from side windows and by going out onto the balcony. Bed ok but would really benefit from a good quality mattress topper. Disappointed they no longer take dogs.

This place was faultless - room was very spacious and clean (stayed in double room with sea view and balcony) - the staff were absolutely fantastic, very pleasant and excellent attention to detail. The food is also fantastic. This is not the first time I have eaten here and the quality of the food, prompted me to try out the...
