We stayed here for a week in September. The setting was perfect for us, in our campervan, as once on the site we could walk into Whitby easily. It's quite a pull back up but even for us who are a bit older it was ok. The site is on terraces and takes only small units. We were quite well...

Stayed just the one night 5th Sep me and my 9 year old son, 1 last daft night away before he returns to school. Only a few tents and caravans here, all very pleasant. Site was fine, tidy clean no Complaints . Will definitely use again. And the son is great friends with the goat

Well located for walking into Whitby. Fairly relaxed with reasonable facilities. Plenty space during week but seems to fill up on weekends. Big mobile phone mast a big off putting but the goat is a plus ☺

Lovely campsite, great location, lovely owners (but busy, don't expect a lengthy conversation), always hot water, the wet rooms are great, storm building, tiered pitches, pretty quiet location. Wet rooms are brilliant, but with a full site there's a wait ( we're not at home, people are waiting ..... Get Out ! ) Tiered pitches, top nearer to facilities (...

We went to Whitby this weekend in our camper van. The chap who greeted us was very nice and helpful. He showed us to a pitch but said we could go where we wanted. There were only us and a couple of other people there and it was a lovely, quiet site. Granted its on a hill, but its not...

We booked our motorhome onto this site over Easter Bank Holiday wknd. The owner, Mike, does appear to be a man of few words but he was pleasant enough. We were situated on the top tier of the site which was incredibly handy for the loo block! The site is close to the town but is on quite a steep...

Stayed for two nights camping at Folly Gardens, cost was only £10 per head/per night. Pitch was perfect with an excellent location just a few minutes walk from Whitby harbour. Shower/toilet facilities were basic but plenty of hot water. No communication problems with the owners as per some previous posts. However as this is a family friendly site I was...

A very basic, pricey campsite ruined further by the owners. There lack of people skills clearly shines through making you feel very unwelcome. The facilities are poor but not as poor as the owners attitude to there paying campers.

The location of this site is out weighed by the rudeness of the owners, neither seem to have any social skills either in person or over the phone! They clearly do not enjoy dealing with people which makes you wonder why they would want to run a campsite!!

The location is great and the pitch size perfect. We had a goat near us that you would think would keep you awake but she only made a sound when you called her name....so cute. The lady and gentleman were both friendly when we were coming and going from the site during the day. The toilets and showers were spotless...
