We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast, here at Intake Farm. Judith and Robert were brilliant hosts. Although they were both very busy because of the lambing season, they made us feel incredibly welcome, starting with a cup of tea and scrumptious home made cake in their lovely farmhouse kitchen. It was a real privilege to stay on a proper...

As I've been every year for the last 13 years says it all. A home from home, warm, friendly and truly special place. Over the years I've met so many different people at Intake Farm from walkers to family's, all of which are catered for and made very welcome by Judith, the host. As it's a working farm, you're never...

Apparently the room we had is the only only one with the super duper water pressure, so enjoy if you get the room on the top floor to the left of the staircase. It also has a lovely view towards Littlebeck Wood. Judith's cooking is a treat from the cakes on arrival to dinner and breakfast. Great sitting around a...

Excellent stay for us, on our way as C2Cers. We arrived early, found Judith had just arrived home with bags of groceries. The males in our party of four helped with the bags of groceries inside, within minutes we had cups of tea, cake and we're all sitting outside in the sunshine chatting with our lovely host. We all retired...

What a lovely and welcoming place Intake Farm is. We have stayed here so many times over the past 12 years, Judith and Robert have become like family. You couldn't ask for nicer hosts. Not only do they serve delicious breakfasts, but Judith cooks delicious dinners for all her guests as there is nowhere else to eat. Judith is renowned...

Nice rooms, dinner and breakfast. Hosts were very welcoming and easy going. Enjoyed the conversations with the other guests while being served a nice home cooked dinner. Being at a working farm was a nice bonus. Learned a lot.

Judith was very welcoming when we arrived tired from our day's walk. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was great to stay on a working farm and we enjoyed meeting the cows and bulls in the sheds! We were also greeted by the local cats and their kittens. We enjoyed a lovely 3 course dinner on site which...

We booked Intake Farm so that we had a short walk on the last day of C2C. I am so glad we booked as Judith and Robert are so welcoming and it was the best place we stayed. They produced a wonderful meal for 10, tea and cake on arrival and even recorded the Tour de France for us to...

So pleased I made Intake farm my last stop on the C2C. My son joined me and we had the most friendly welcome. We met and spent a lovely evening with 3 other couples. The dinner was delicious, great rooms and bathroom and fab breakfast before we left.

Thank Lynne C
