Highly recommend this B&B. The room was clean and fresh, the whole building was spotlessly clean. Delicious home-cooked full English breakfast. An easy walk into town, either via steps or a slope (bit further to walk but not far)! A thoroughly enjoyable 2-night stay.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at the Haven. Firstly, the building and room (5) was spotless. The bed linen was lovely and extremely fresh. We wanted for nothing in terms of facilities provided. The room was a little on the small side but if you go to Whitby to stay in your...

The Haven is everything you'd want a Guest House to be. Very clean - looks to have recently been refurbished. Lovely location up on the West Cliff (so there is some step climbing to walk down to town) with great views from our room (6) over across the piers of the harbour. Excellent full-english breakfast.

Stevie is a great hostess and cooks a good breakfast to set you up for the day. No need for lunch, it kept us going till dinner and that included walking 8 miles back from Runswick...

We stayed 2 nights in a front room with a 4-poster bed. Not a huge room, but we were very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty! We parked on the road close by, but then we only needed to walk around the town to see all the sights. Loved the ruins , the old town, the swing bridge etc. Being Aussies, we...
